Subject: Suicide Squid 3rd run t-shirt orders being taken

Orders for a third run of t-shirts featuring r.a.c.'s mascot Suicide Squid are
now being taken. Great for being noticed at r.a.c. get togethers, cons, and
just for those with a general odd fashion sense (seriously, wearing the shirt
usually results in several favorable comments from passers-by).  The shirt
features art by professional artist Ty Templeton (Stig's Inferno, JLI, Batman
Adventures, and currently just finishing up the good half of the 6 issue Mad
Dog mini-series). The main design is that of a vaguely depressed looking
squid. One tentacle is holding a noose around the equivalent of a neck,
another holding a gun to its head, one holiding an open bottle of sleeping
pills, another sticking a knife in a toaster, one slitting another at the
"wrist" area with a knife, one holding an open book titled "Selected Moaning
and Groaning" by Kafka, and one holding a steak with an attached "Here
Sharks!" placard. Above Squiddy is a red Suicide Squid logo, and below the
slogan "The seaweed of crime bears bitter sushi". The art is in four colors,
red, black, white, and grey. The design has received favorable comments
from pros such as John Ostrander, Kim Yale, Len Wein, Marv Wolfman, Lea
Hernandez, Peter David, and Harlan Ellison (all mentioned specifically
because the crux of their comments was "I want one!")

The shirt is available in both ice green and black colors, and is an Oneida
100% cotton model. All usual adult sizes are available, with a couple of
caveats found in the order info section.

The schedule for this run is as follows: Orders will be taken through October
25th. At that point, the shirts will be printed by the same printer as did the
second run shirts (and also The Tick t-shirt btw). There is a good chance that
I'll be out of town from that point until November 20th. Shirts will be mailed
out the week of the November 22nd (American Thanksgiving), hopefully just
beating the onset of the xmas mail crunch.

To order, provide the information requested below. First, email it to me
at tyg@hq.ileaf.com  Then, send the information and a check (if in the U.S.)
to me via snail mail at the address below. The snail mail must be received
by October 25th.

Pricing: US$10 per shirt. US$11 per shirt for XXL sizes. US$.50 of each
shirt will be donated to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund in the name
of r.a.c.. US addresses will receive their shirt(s) via USPS Priority Mail.
Postage/handling for US addresses is $3.00 for 1-3 shirts, $6.00 for 4-6
shirts, $9.00 for 7-9 shirts, and you can figure out the progression should
you want to order a larger number. If you want to combine an order with
someone else in your area to save on postage, that's fine, but it's up
to you to arrange it.

People from outside the US, please email your order to me and wait for
me to reply to let you know postage for your country and to arrange for
how to get payment to me. My bank has a problem with foreign checks, even
in U.S. dollars, but I've always been able to work things out in the past.
